I would like to see google drive added as a source, as well as Amazon Photo's and Flickr
@markshazell Unfortunately, accessing Amazon Photos through a third-party app is not possible as they do not allow such access to their data. However, using Flickr may be an option as their developer documentation suggests it's possible. Consider adding a separate suggestion for Flickr so that others can vote on it.
To those who have upvoted: do you currently store your photos on Google Drive or Google Photos?
As of July 2019, Google Drive and Google Photos are two separate storage services and photos stored on Google Drive are no longer automatically synced to Google Photos.
If we add a Google Drive photo source, it will not synchronize photos stored in Google Photos. If you are interested, we may consider implementing a Google Takeout import for Google Photos in the future due to limitations of the Google Photos API.
To help us with our prioritization, please let us know if Google Drive is your preferred option.
Merged in a post:
Google Drive is my preferred option .. everything is syncronized to Google Drive - I used One Drive for a few years but I was pulling my hair out with it - My Drive from Google is far and away the better choice - better than One Drive or any of the other Clouds - it is a one stop shop for me.
@user651272cfdb126 Thank you for letting us know. :)
Google Photos if I had to pick one. Google photo's is where the Android phones backup DCIM and all local image file's storage locations by default. It also allows for creation of Albums, favorites, etc. Google photo's is not directly accessible from GDrive as far as I have found. Furthermore, Drive is intended for storage of all files not simply photos and videos. Drive, must be configured manually in order to synchronize and does not backup photos, albums, or favorited info.
@steverhallock Appreciate your input! :)
