Hello Stefan, I was trying to add a location for the organizer to look for the photos because in the drop down location there are no subs so i move a photo to a location in the list and the organizer did not see or pull up the photo. I also tried to type it in the location box and that did not work either. Lastly I was sort of confused from the beginning when I made the purchase of this program because the email had me believe it add photos and not leave them in their original locations. Because I really was looking for a program where i could put all my photos and video and get away from the clouds of Apple, Google and Microsoft storing them and back up myself on my external devices. So really this program is just another photoshop.
That is why I originally tried to go to the website and research its features but the site did not allow me too so I made the purchase.
But, now the program is not seeing the locations to pulled up the photos, I even have a couple folders on my desktop and it doesn’t see them under add location desktop?
Thank you

Hi,
I’d like to clarify a few things based on your message.
Could you elaborate on what you mean by "drop-down location there are no subs"? It’s a bit unclear, and I’d appreciate more context. Specifically, which "location box" are you referring to? If possible, could you share a screenshot to help me better understand the issue? Additionally, could you copy and paste the text from the email or message that led you to believe the tool wouldn’t retain photos in their original locations? If there’s any confusing wording, our marketing team can address it. The intended concept is that you decide where your photos are stored, and the app organizes them there. This approach differs from tools like Apple Photos, which require you to "import" all files into their proprietary structure.
Regarding storing files on an external disk, the process involves first downloading the files from their current location, moving them to the external disk, and then adding this disk as a location in the app.
It’s worth noting that our program is not designed for photo editing. We don’t offer such features and don’t plan to introduce them in the near future. Instead, our primary focus is on helping users efficiently organize their photo collections.
If you found the app's features unclear or had difficulties navigating our website, I’d appreciate it if you could share more details about where you experienced trouble. Your feedback is invaluable, and I will ensure it reaches our web design team so we can improve both the app and the site.
For photo organization with advanced metadata management and fast search capabilities, our tool is an excellent choice. However, if you’re looking for photo editing features, you may want to try Ashampoo Photo Optimizer.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Kind regards,
Stefan
