The primary issue here seems to be the lack of visibility in our process, and I believe we should address this concern.

Regarding syncing, there is a progress bar at the top that displays how far the sync has progressed, and the icon is animated to indicate that it's actively syncing. However, I understand that it can be easy to overlook.

If you wish to stop the sync at any time, you can do so by clicking the "X" located at the top right of the toolbar, just to the left of the "Select" option. Clicking this button should halt the sync process as quickly as possible.

I'd like to clarify that Ashampoo Photos only creates thumbnails and does not import or copy your photos. Your feedback highlights the need for us to make this point clearer. Do you have any suggestions on how we can achieve that?

The estimation of expected times is often inaccurate due to various factors. In my personal opinion, a progress bar should provide the best estimate of how long a task may take.
